Jugglers!
Five Ball Endurance at the 47th Annual MadFest

Where

Open juggling Saturday and Sunday will be in the University of Wisconsin Field House, located at 1440 Monroe Street, next to Camp Randall Stadium, at the intersection of Monroe Street, Regent Street, and Breese Terrace. Use of a map is highly recommended as search parties are not available.

Thursday and Friday nights, we'll be in the On Wisconsin room in the Red Gym, which is the large castle-like red brick building next door to the Memorial Union (the building where the public show will be held).

Throughout the festival, if you need directions or otherwise need to contact the organizers, please call Katherine at 608-698-3677 (any time) or Dave at 608-658-7985 (any time except Sunday).

Cost

Due to inflation and budgetary constraints this year, admission to the open juggling halls and workshop rooms and bathrooms will again be FREE! Public show has a modest fee to make the performers feel good. Such a deal!!

Details

For those wishing to juggle knives, chain saws, flaming kittens, or anything that might damage the expansive floors of our venue, space will be provided on Lake Mendota (notice we did not say near Lake Mendota). Inside there will be juggling, workshops, catching, demos, dropping, competitions, pickups, vendors, excuses, parties, apologies, a raffle, and relief from wind chill low enough to shrivel silicone.

Workshops

If you are interested in conducting a workshop, please contact Danny Tomaro.

Vendors

A good assortment of prop vendors, t-shirt pushers, snazzy hat salespeople and money changers are expected to be in attendance. Vendors wishing to reserve a table, please contact Tablemeister Chan Wilson at (608) 216-5689.
