If You Need Directions on the Road

Directions to the Field House

Park in lots 19 and 17, which are free after 4:30 Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. Metered and street parking may also be available.

From I-94 (East or West)

1. From the north/west, heading eastbound on I-94, take exit 138 B onto HWY 30. From the east, heading westbound on I-94, stay on the road you're on, which will become HWY 30.
2. Follow HWY 30 for 2 - 2.5 miles.
3. Take the exit marked "151 South/State Capitol" onto East Washington.
4. Follow East Washington for 2 - 2.5 miles. You'll pass Ella's Deli, a great place to eat.
5. Turn left onto Blair St. (look for 2 left turn lanes as you approach the capitol).
6. Blair St. will become John Nolan Drive.
7. Turn right onto North Shore Drive. Wave to the ice fishermen on the left.
8. North Shore Dr. will become Proudfit St., which will become Regent St. Pass lights at Park St., Mills St., and Randall Ave.
9. You will see two sets of lights close together. Turn right at the second set of lights, onto Breese Terrace.
10. Turn right into Lot 19.

From I-90 West (from the South)

1. From the south, heading westbound on I-90, take exit 142 (left lane exit) onto HWY 12/18 West.
2. Take the Park St./HWY 151 North exit.
3. Follow Park St. a little more than 2 miles. Stay in the left lane, which will become a turn only lane.
4. Turn left onto Regent St.
5. Pass lights at Mills St. and Randall Ave.
6. You will see two sets of lights close together. Turn right at the second set of lights, onto Breese Terrace.
7. Turn right into Lot 19.

From the West

These directions are from west Madison. If you don't know how to get to University Ave. from where you are, use one of the other sets of directions.

1. Take University Ave. east towards campus.
2. As you approach campus, the road will split into University Ave. and Campus Drive. Stay in the right lane to stay on University Ave.
3. At the third light, turn right onto Breese Terrace.
4. Before the light, turn left into Lot 19.

To Get From Lot 19 to Lot 17

1. If Lot 19 is full, turn right back onto Breese Terrace.
2. Turn right at the light onto University Ave.
3. Turn right onto Randall Ave.
4. Turn right onto Engineering Drive.
5. Drive past Engineering Hall and the big metal statue to the parking ramp.

Directions to the Memorial Union

Metered parking is available in lots 1 and 6, or use the city parking ramp on Lake Street north of University Ave. (grid G10).

From Lot 19 at the Field House

1. Turn right onto Breese Terrace.
2. Turn right at the light onto University Ave.
3. University Ave. will become Johnson St.
4. Turn left onto Park St.
5. Go two blocks to the stop sign at Langdon St.
6. Memorial Union is ahead to the right.
• For Lot 6, continue forward on Park St., and turn left into the parking ramp.
• For Lot 1, turn right onto Langdon St., drive past Memorial Union, and turn left into the lot.
• For the public parking ramp, turn right onto Langdon St. Drive one block, and turn right onto Lake St. Drive one and a half blocks, and turn left into the parking ramp.

From Lot 17 at the Field House

1. Exit the parking ramp onto Engineering Drive.
2. Cross Randall Ave.
3. Merge onto Johnson St.
4. Turn left onto Park St.
5. Go two blocks to the stop sign at Langdon St.
6. Memorial Union is ahead to the right.
• For Lot 6, continue forward on Park St., and turn left into the parking ramp.
• For Lot 1, turn right onto Langdon St., drive past Memorial Union, and turn left into the lot.
• For the public parking ramp, turn right onto Langdon St. Drive one block, and turn right onto Lake St. Drive one and a half blocks, and turn left into the parking ramp.

From I-94 (East or West)

1. From the north/west, heading eastbound on I-94, take exit 138 B onto HWY 30. From the east, heading westbound on I-94, stay on the road you're on, which will become HWY 30.
2. Follow HWY 30 for 2 - 2.5 miles.

5. At the fifth light, turn right onto First St.
6. Turn left onto Johnson St.
7. Johnson will become Gorham St., which will become University Ave. Go past Francis St. and Lake St.
8. Turn right onto Park St.
9. Go one block to the stop sign at Langdon St.
10. Memorial Union is ahead to the right.
• For Lot 6, continue forward on Park St., and turn left into the parking ramp.
• For Lot 1, turn right onto Langdon St., drive past Memorial Union, and turn left into the lot.
• For the public parking ramp, turn right onto Langdon St. Drive one block, and turn right onto Lake St. Drive one and a half blocks, and turn left into the parking ramp.

From I-90 West (from the South)

1. From the south, heading westbound on I-90, take exit 142 (left lane exit) onto HWY 12/18 West.
2. Take the Park St./HWY 151 North exit.
3. Follow Park St. about 3 miles. You will cross Johnson St. and University Ave.
4. Go two more blocks to the stop sign at Langdon St.
5. Memorial Union is ahead to the right.
• For Lot 6, continue forward on Park St., and turn left into the parking ramp.
• For Lot 1, turn right onto Langdon St., drive past Memorial Union, and turn left into the lot.
• For the public parking ramp, turn right onto Langdon St. Drive one block, and turn right onto Lake St. Drive one and a half blocks, and turn left into the parking ramp.

From the West

These directions are from west Madison. If you don't know how to get to University Ave. from where you are, use one of the other sets of directions.

1. Take University Ave. east towards campus.
2. As you approach campus, the road will split into University Ave. and Campus Drive. Stay in the middle or left lane to get on Campus Drive.
3. Campus Drive will become Johnson St.
4. Turn left onto Park St.
5. Go two blocks to the stop sign at Langdon St.
6. Memorial Union is ahead to the right.
• For Lot 6, continue forward on Park St., and turn left into the parking ramp.
• For Lot 1, turn right onto Langdon St., drive past Memorial Union, and turn left into the lot.
• For the public parking ramp, turn right onto Langdon St. Drive one block, and turn right onto Lake St. Drive one and a half blocks, and turn left into the parking ramp.
